Our own media shows clips of Trump talking all the time. So does Twitter. And especially Truth Social. No one is hiding him.
Just watch Trump be Trump and realize, of course everyone hates that. It's detestable behavior. Who wouldn't hate that? Ya know, aside from a plurality of American voters, of course, but they're well aware the rest of the country hates them, and revel in it. Surely they know the rest of the world, in addition to the rest of the country, also hates them. And surely, they revel in that too.
Of course not lol, the average American still thinks 9/11 happened because "terrorists hate our freedom" rather than it being predictable blowback from decades of attrocities. Even today, the average American who does recognize the world hates us probably assumes its because of Trump and not due to said attrocities (as shown by the milquetoast analysis in the article)
The extent that Americans are sheltered from what our government does overseas represents one of the most successful propaganda campaigns to ever exist.
That over estimates how many people are tourists going to America and also makes in easier for Americans to be ignorant about the rest of the world.
Which leads to silly attitudes like "they hate us because they are jealous of our freedom"
Our economy isn't very tourism dependent. It would hurt if there were larger scale boycotts of American products but our tech products, in particular, genuinely are best-in-class with few replacements at an enterprise scale.
Europe's tech sector is weak. China's is growing but not yet fully internationalized. It's not very feasible to go cold turkey on the US and our goods. Though they admittedly could be trying harder.
When you need us we will not be there for you. Witness Iran. Your “president” is a psycho who only knows how to take and destroy things and while the world is moving on he is obsessed with replicating Nazi Germany. And I can’t imagine how those numb nuts who still support him are such masochists that they enjoy getting f*cked up the ass as long as others suffer more. America this is who you are and you can all just get stuffed.
It's interesting to me when people talk about Americans this way, as if the country is a monolith. When you say "you can all just get stuffed," are you also talking about the marginalized and terrorized Americans who have fought and scraped for generations to achieve their rights and are now actively targeted by the state and its rabid minority of supporters? Black Americans, queer Americans, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, the list goes on? Yeah, the bullshit in the white house is a facet of the country's identity. It's rot. But it isn't all there is.

It’s funny how when you start stabbing allies in the back and telling the world to fuck off, they start hating you.

No matter how much the world hates Americans, Americans will hate Americans more

The world ends us somewhere between Branson and Terra Haute for most Americans.

Most Americans don’t think about “the world” at all.

Sadly, you are correct.

Honestly, no, I don't know. However, I can imagine because I know just how much I hate us.

Yep. Just about as much as intelligent Americans hate this regime.

Stop vacationing here then, for real. Force the US to have an economic squeeze. Same with tech companies and products.

We know.
It's funny the rest of the world thinks we sit around crying all day because England hates us. We don't give a fuck.
