'Unspeakable cruelty': Oath ceremonies canceled for immigrants on verge of gaining citizenship- Immigrants who have already been thoroughly vetted are being turned away from naturalization ceremonies because of where they were born.
This is just so cruel. These people work so hard and are so proud of their accomplishments. It's just unbelievable that they are doing this. It's shameful!
Well, 49.3% of those who bothered to vote, vote for this. They voted for the guy who uses phrases like immigrants are "rapists and murders" and come from "shithole countries"; Somalis are "garbage" and they should "get the hell out" and "go back to where they came from"; Puerto Rico is a "floating pile of garbage"; Covid was the "Kung-Flu" or "Chinese virus". And the list goes on and on and on.
The real scary part is those who voted for Trump are likely just like him in their racism and bigotry. If not why would they vote for such a despicable human being?
The midterms won’t solve anything if your opposition party is a bunch of collaborators.
And honestly? They wouldn’t solve anything even if the Dems were competent.
He’s ruling like a king bc he set everything up in his first term to do so. There are no guardrails, there is no deep state cabal controlling everything—if there were, surely it would’ve intervened this week, as he blew up the world order we created for our benefit 80 years ago.

Half the evangelical Christians reading this have a massive hard-on.
The other half will swear they find this distasteful, but will will do absolutely fuck all to oppose it and will keep voting for the people doing it.
