I take this drug for PSA. I have lost two fingernails on my left hand and half of one on my right, and a few toenails. I'm not sure others would put up with these side effects.
Out of curiosity, and aside from the obvious visual issues with loss of fingernails, does it cause problems in daily life? (e.g. damage to fingers where your nails would otherwise protect you or makes it more difficult to open/pick at things that you could normally do with fingernails)
Infections: Can lower your ability to fight infections, raising the risk of shingles, respiratory infections, or serious illnesses.
Other Risks: Potential increased risk of blood clots (venous thromboembolism), major adverse cardiovascular events, and certain cancers, particularly at higher doses or in patients with preexisting risk factors.
I mean nothing but the best for you and everybody who needs this treatment. I hope i added some value to the original post. This is not a medical advice but what i would do before taking this is to increase strenght of my body, make sure bloodwork is perfect, add 1 month of general vitamins, do some training than take this treatment. If there is downfall to it, at least you will go down from a higher ground.
