His nerdy ass lapel pin solidified how much of a loser this dude is for me. Maybe even more so than his insane children’s books where he is a wizard trying to protect Donald Trump from the evil left and the Hillary Clinton dragon

> the Hillary Clinton dragon

Don't make me want to read this, please.

I'm imagining Tiamat but one of the heads is Hilary, her breath move is putting Bill on blast...

I imagine you get really stupid and go buy a little red hat as soon as you read it

In October 2019, Patel filed a $44-million defamation suit against The New York Times, and the next month he sued Politico for $25 million.

Patel's lawyers moved to dismiss both lawsuits in 2021.

In December 2020, Patel sued CNN.

The trial court dismissed the case.

January 2025 the Virginia Court of Appeals affirmed that Patel had failed to adequately plead that CNN acted with actual malice.

In May 2023, Patel sued the Department of Defense over delays in the prepublication review of his memoir, Government Gangsters.

In June, he sued Jim Stewartson, an online commentator, for defamation.

In August 2025, a federal judge issued a default judgment after Stewartson failed to respond to the lawsuit.

In September 2024, Patel sued FBI director Christopher A. Wray and other Department of Justice officials.

The case was dismissed.

In June 2025, Patel filed a defamation lawsuit against Frank Figliuzzi.

Figliuzzi moved to dismiss, calling the suit "performative"

In April 2026, Patel filed a defamation suit against The Atlantic magazine

I wonder how this one will go.

Sounds like a vexatious litigant if ever there was one.

Remember too that he first popped up as the Press Secretary for Devin Nunes. The guy who sued a Twitter Cow and lost.

That fact that last sentence is not some random nonsensical line in a romcom is insane… but this is the timeline we live in.

SeeMarkFly | 9 days ago

So basically he's Kash Patel in spite of himself. Got it.

bokehtoast | 9 days ago

Why is it legal to harass people with frivolous lawsuits, not that legality stops these people from doing anything. Isn't this seen as a massive waste of time and resources?

t1mdawg | 9 days ago

The Figliuzzi case was dismissed yesterday by a Houston Federal court, stating “The Court finds that Figliuzzi’s statement is rhetorical hyperbole that cannot constitute defamation. Accordingly, Dir. Patel has failed to state a claim against Figliuzzi, and his lawsuit must be dismissed.”

Let him enjoy his time in the sun, basking in the Streisand effect.

Half this administration are coke-heads, which explains a lot - and the erratic drinking.

Which also makes the constant Vegas weekends make some sense, since both are available there, but like theyre available anywhere so why is Kash spending so many weekends in Vegas? Gotta guess some sort of hardcore gambling is in the mix, since his girlfriend lives in Nashville but he is spending most weekends in Vegas.

Ok looked into it a little and some stuff can be explained since apparently he "has" a house there, moved in 2021 after the first trump admin, but his house is owned by a republican megadonor Michael J Muldoon, not him, which is very odd. Michael Muldoon also lives there, doesnt just own it, theyre roommates and seem to share a lot of financial and legal ties.

And he's going there, to a house owned by his roommate, every weekend, when his girlfriend is in Nashville and he has work to do. Like did previous FBI directors fly home every weekend? Why does some other dude own his home that he votes from and what does he owe him for it? He also has apparently been pushing for remote work from home so he like does not want to leave Vegas.

I really want to know more about this whole Vegas connection, so that should be a fun part of the lawsuit. It seems sus af though. The poodle room is not super duper close where he lives, like a 15 minute drive with other bars much closer, so wonder if it is a favorite for other reasons or if he cant get into the neighborhood country club bar. There has to be some intense gossip about the dude in the serving community. Possibly videos too, poodle club doesnt allow cameras or recording, but that doesnt mean recording doesnt happen.

This all has potential for some major drama. I feel like an epic book/tv series is starting, which is kinda fun but also pretty damn sad considering how much power the dude theoretically has. With all his backstory, and the vegas connections, idk how Kash could possibly not be compromised. Dude is a bonanza of opportunities. And he runs our FBI.

French General Michel Yakovleff went on French TV and absolutely cooked the Trump administration over its Iran strategy. His professional military assessment? “American officials should stop snorting cocaine between meetings.”

In fairness to the general, he was reacting to the galaxy-brained proposal to build a runway inside Iran to fly out uranium while the country is still being actively bombed. You know, normal stuff. Totally sober stuff.

This is also the same guy who previously described joining the U.S. war effort as “buying cheap tickets for the Titanic after it hit the iceberg.” The French are really not in a diplomatic mood these days, and honestly? Earned.
