Bonkers to read the "Status: Experimental" section after they claimed that the Matrix "implementation" they did was production-ready, then gaslit everyone about it.

Oh wow, that's a fascinating choice of reference user too. Seems fitting, somehow.

Oh how far the Cloudflare blog has fallen...

Got some links to things that were good on there? While it's certainly very slop-filled this year, I don't recall ever seeing anything that rose much above that.

Ugh. Going from that to a platform for clankers is a big fall indeed.

I support this, it's like one type of cancer killing another type of cancer.

Looks like Cloudflare is feature complete if this is what they're busy with.

Mostly just enshittified I am afraid.

Had the first incident of a website behind Cloudflare being DoS'ed last weekend.

Its webserver denied everything not coming from Cloudflare's origin IPs, we are on a paid plan, and the adding local PoW challenges on the webserver as a workaround immediately provided relief.

Could be that those DoS'ers just paid Cloudflares new-ish entrance fee for AI scrapers. But the effect is the same.

We've been working with National Design Studio, a team that's aiming to modernize every government interface

this is especially gross NDS is a massive step backwards

that's nothing, i can build next.js in seconds with ˋnpm run buildˋ
