Kiesel (/ˈkiːzəl/) is a JavaScript engine written from scratch for the purpose of me learning the Zig programming language, with the eventual goal of full support for the latest ECMAScript standard.
If the author is reading this, I'd suggest to include a short blurb about what your project is when you make a blog post about a release. Some of your readers might not know!
My blog posts are usually aimed at the small audience that is aware of the project and wants to stay up to date and I don't share them widely, but I'll keep it in mind for the next one!
That readme is a bit out of date too, test262 conformance is nearly 95% and I did learn Zig; still fun to work on so I keep going :)
FWIW I'd never heard of this project before but found this super interesting and read through a good chunk of the backlog. I particularly enjoyed the random ports. Please share future updates to lobste.rs!
