We have no idea what we’re losing. Iron Age coins with an unknown ruler, Anglo Saxon coinage also potentially with new names, artefact assemblages which would change our understanding of local and national history. Out of place artefacts. We are destroying our countries history and the worst part is it’s so preventable.
