Because they never face any consequences. If we were jailing these men for years, kicking them out of college, fining them tens of thousands of dollars, putting them on the sex offender registry, ruining their lives - they’d have second thoughts.
But they are emboldened by Musk, by a college landscape that doesn’t give a fuck about sexual harassment and assault until it’s an unpleasant public image, and tech that wants to push forward no matter how many women it hurts.
