Nothing is more permanent than a temporary fix.

I’ve seen this so many times that I’m superstitious to the point of avoiding the phrase “temporary fix”.

My fav are "TODO [2015-07-15 @myCurrentManager]: this is bad, fix once #1234 is merged", #1234 was merged 2 days after this line was created, but it remains to this day
