Really sad story. I am nurse who worked in dialysis for some time and it is absolutely brutal on the body. I understand the desperation of the parents to seek help for their child but people (and their organs!) aren’t commodities. Heartbreaking that Daniel was never able to return home. He is so brave. I hope they’re all well.
