The women weren’t at the table for the same reason the gardeners and janitors weren’t. They weren’t regarded as fully human. They were servants, entertainers, decorations. Objects, not real people. I’m sure part of the appeal for many of Epstein’s male guests was just that: the opportunity to treat women as objects openly and without any pretense or repercussions
Woman would have been at the tables to take shots off of like an ice luge or in place of a platter for sushi. The men laughing as they pinched her with the chopsticks.
This is a very interesting observation, but the discussion is quickly undercut by the statement:
>To browse through the Epstein photos is to identify, through its absence, what must be most terrifying to men in this circle: a forty-something woman with thoughts.
We'll be closer to progress when we imagine evil as a complicated, multifaceted thing with delusions of doing good, making progress, achievement.
It would make much more sense to me to describe Epstein's use of women as tools, maybe both personally and professionally, but chiefly for the corruption and manipulation of his intelligence targets. The women are not at the dinner, perhaps, because the women were simply the reason that the targets were convinced to fly to the island, ranch, etc. and their presence (the women) would've distracted the target from engaging at dinner with the intelligence-gathering discussion Epstein had set this all up for in the first place.

Women are meant to be consumed not participate in the consumption ceremonies.
