I suggested the 'mac' tag, because this is only for GNU/Emacs on MacOS. For what it's worth, a similar effect is available for GNU/Emacs on unix-likes depending on your compositor (Wayland compositor or X compositor). In Emacs, set the 'alpha-background frame parameter how you like it, and in your compositor set the background blur. E.g. in Niri. I understand that Apple's Liquid Glass is more than just transparency and background blur (glassmorphism) and that on MacOS you might want the real thing just for the sake of consistency.
