Neat, this is the brother of Matthias Wandel who was an early employee at RIM/Blackberry and runs a woodworking page on YouTube.

wait wait wait wait wait.... Matthias's channel is about woodworking?!?! Damn... I thought it was just random tech stuff (tbf, the vids of him i was shown to by The Algorithm were all tech stuff)

Also.. TIL he was an early employee at Blackberry. Neat! More reason for me to like that dude :)

EDIT: Apparently he has a channel dedicated to his random stuff which is the one I follow..... I never even realized he had another channel lol.

  1. Quite neat. I wonder if he's still in Kanata, as I'll be there tomorrow.

Reminds me of working at Mitel (down the road from the Big Nerd Ranch), in the early days of IP telephony, where my manager who had an all POTS background, used to do Lunch and Learn sessions with us kids who only knew "packet-switch" transmissions. I learned a lot about how PBX and CO switches worked.

This whole site is like a time capsule of an early 00's website.
