speaker and willow person present! I’ve been overwhelmed with the response to this talk, and it makes me very happy that people still appreciate a bit of storytelling.

This was hands down one of the coolest talks I've seen at fosdem! The local first room was really a blast this year

The Breath of the Wild-like opening is brilliant! Wish I had been in the room for this one.

I was mind blown! Really lucky I got to experience it live

How does it compare to https://iroh.computer?

Two different kinds of projects: Iroh is for establishing p2p connections between peers, and Willow is for p2p data storage.

So two peers using Willow might choose to connect to each other using Iroh.

Willow is primarily a specification, though they do maintain their own implementation. That said, I don't think these are competing projects, because Iroh actually has an implementation of Willow!

I believe Iroh even sponsors Willow, at least according to the footer on the Willow site.
