.su and .ru have new registration requirements as of this year that limit their use by non-Russian citizens, so I think a big percentage of .su domains are about to go away.

.su is unlikely to go away unless some rules are changed. SU like EU and historically the UK has a special ISO registration (reserved) and ICAN allows those tlds to exist.
