A lot of these people aren’t invested in partisan politics, and genuinely care for their kids, but are just uneducated with poor critical thinking skills and getting strung along by increasingly sophisticated grifters and malicious actors.
It’s so hard to be a health conscious science based mom these moms. Half these health sites are baloney, filled with anti-vaxers, “chiropractic physicians”, snake oil saleswomen selling supplements. It can be hard to discern the science from the quackery. I have an MD and I still have to re-check ideas. I can’t imagine what the average person with no science background deals with the canopy of scams.
