A device designed to do everything it turns out isn’t the best for focused work

We’re running in circles…

Good. Tech is terrible in education if the student can not self-regulate. Which is everyone under 16 years old, and half the population over 16.

If it isn't being used for coding, spreadsheets, word processing or reading documents, it is entertainment not education.

And completely skipped E-readers? You know, the device designed to read books but 100 times more compact and lightweight. No more 10kg backpacks for kids

e-readers fucking suck

Furdiburd10 | 9 minutes ago

Can you explain that longer?

It is great for reading and has screens made specifically for that with way less eye strain.

practically impossible to focus on with ADHD

Sweden is so smart. Why aren’t we learning what they know?

Why not have a healthy mix of both?

What's unhealthy about books? If you're concerned about kids not having enough exposure to screens outside of school, I wouldn't worry...

What? Who are you talking to? Your comment makes no sense as a response

Where did I say books were unhealthy?

They are heavy and cause back issues

Leave them in the classroom
