That’s a pretty direct message, and honestly it cuts through a lot of noise. Saying God doesn’t justify war challenges a lot of the narratives people lean on. Not everyone will like it, but it hits!
On the one hand, christianity is a Roman mystery cult, so of course god justifies war. On the other hand, the Roman Empire created it to pacify the rebellious Jews, so god being against war would be understandable too.

It's silly to claim that the Roman Empire created christianity to suppress the jews when the jews are the ones who actually created christianity.
