Ugh. Is there an effective way for us Americans to fight this?

Vote in the midterms? Protest? Research and publicise which companies end up putting poison in the food.

The same way that the Serbians fought Vučić over corruption until he was forced out of office; the way Bangladeshi students broke the autocracy of Sheik Hasina until she was forced to flee, the way the Indian 'Cockroaches' forced the Minister of Education's resignation, and students the world over are letting governments know they have had enough. For some reason, instead of building on the big turnouts they began with, the US opposition let things go. Guess it's easier to be a keyboard warrior.

For those who complain they can't afford to, they are uncomfortable fighting, they should give peace a chance and yadayadayada, those who successfully fought back had more to lose, were in severe danger, were blinded, crippled and died by truly ruthless governments willing to use lethal force sooner than blink. So, for that matter, did your founding rebels.

Just a thought.

Other than voting, my thought is to boycott these giant companies and try to eat much less processed food.
