I much prefer the original DESI press release found here: Press Release I had never heard about DESI until I made a trip to the Salt Lake City Planetarium where they have a full video dedicated to this exact project. It was surreal to fly through their map at the time and imagine all there is to see in these distant galaxies. For as small as it made me feel, it was also humbling to realize we are just dipping our toe into what is out there!
