From the article: scientists from OrganTech identified a type of cell that makes lab-grown hair follicles grow. When transplanted into mice, the new tri-cell follicles integrated with surrounding tissue and grew hair similar to surrounding natural follicles. Human trials are scheduled to begin in late 2026

Not for mice, theoretically. But they rarely if ever go bald in the first place. Humans will keep going bald as usual for the time being
