PragerU, which brought you such videos as “DEI Must Die,” “Preferred Pronouns or Prison,” and “Multiculturalism: A Bad Idea,” is partnering with the Trump Administration to educate America’s youth for the semiquincentennial.
Semiquincentennial is definitely the most obnoxious possible way to say 250th anniversary that I have ever heard. Some close seconds from google would be Bisesquicentennial or the Sestercentennial.
Dennis Prager once wrote a two-part op-ed advocating that wives should have sex with their husbands even when they don’t want to. Now his right-wing organization, PragerU, is a key partner in the Trump Administration’s “civic education” campaign.
Prager’s nonprofit is just one of dozens of conservative organizations that are named as “partners” in the America 250 Civics Education Coalition, which is overseen by the Education Secretary and tasked with developing programming for America’s birthday. The coalition, according to a D.O.E. press release, is “dedicated to renewing patriotism, strengthening civic knowledge, and advancing a shared understanding of America’s founding principles in schools across the nation.” Read more about PragerU and its proliferation in American education: https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-lede/the-right-wing-nonprofit-serving-ai-slop-for-americas-birthday
Ah yes, PragerU. The fine folks who brought us "hey, slavery wasn't so bad, and it's better than dying!" as an educational message to America's children. No reason to worry about their growing influence.
The amount of religious propaganda that prager has already disseminated is vast and utterly foul. They push sexist, racist drivel packaged especially for the children!
Meanwhile the president and most of the leadership have RAPED AND MURDERED CHILDREN.
