Very cool! Looks very featureful. Having a decent Go module for this is great too.
I have IPv6 reachability almost-everywhere, but no on my phone, my CI, I box I leave with family, etc.
The stack looks a little complex, e.g. relying on gVisor's TCP/IP implementation, especially when it feels like QUIC-based solutions are coming soon. And maybe already are here, e.g. Iroh.
That said, if I squint, it feels like TCP/IP over Wireguard is more cromulent layering than QUIC doing it all in one protocol. (But I'm unfamiliar with the details. I'm sure there are good pros/cons either way.)
Any guesses why the Tailscale company have chosen to work on this, publish it, and support it with free DERP proxies?
