The Lipka Tatars also opened one of first Mosques in the United States, if not the first -- the Powers Street Mosque in New York City. And the father of Charles Bronson (aka Charles Buchinsky) was a Lipka Tatar from Lithuana.

First Muslim who went to Japan was also a Tatar if I remember correctly.

I feel like an Indonesian or Filipino Muslim must have gone to Japan at some point on a merchant ship, especially if we count Okinawa

This is really interesting. I'm not a believer in exceptionalism but the abrahamic religions just seem to survive as communities. Can anyone think of the survival of non-abrahamic religions in Europe? Sara-kali of the roma community comes to mind. There must be more.

The Mari in Russia and Sami in Fennoscandia preserved pre-Christian traditions, albeit with plenty of influence from Islam and Christianity.

But any assertion that "some religious communities survived while others were wiped out" is an oversimplification. Communities that converted to Christianity maintained and adapted pre-Christian traditions, and they adapted Christian traditions to fit pre-Christian ones, until the border between the two isn't really clear. You might even ask if Abrahamic religions survived the contact with pre-Christian or pre-Islamic traditions; certainly not in their original form.

Abrahamic religions were also highly pagan in origin so the distinction can feel kind of silly

Its simply, as much as Abrahamic religions kill each other, historically they were even worse towards polythiestic religions, which were usually less organized and able to protect themselves from the endless genocide committed by Abrahamic religions.

Ironically as much as folks like to bag on religions with caste systems, religions that have them for some reason are more resistant to Abrahamic genocides and survive better usually then ones who don't.

But Pagan religions of Europe did not go quietly at least and they are slowly being reborn, by recreationists and in new forms, now that the Abrahamic religions of Europe are less genocidal.
