Pavlo Palisa, deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential office, told reporters that Russian military chiefs have been tasked by the Kremlin’s political leaders with planning and preparing for attacks on the two cities, according to intelligence received and verified by Ukraine.
lol, ok. Good luck with that. You have a city full of armed people who are sick and tired of Russia's crap. These people have nothing left and nowhere else to go. Do you have any idea what that means?? pretty much every Ukrainian is going to fight to the death with every fiber of their being. Russia will not beat Ukraine unless and until they basically kill every adult in the country. Add to this the fact, that the majority of the Russia's every day citizens want nothing to do with this war, and do not want to take part in it. More pointless human deaths that will accomplish nothing.

Even a giant swarm of Russians 100,000 strong going full Zerg might get to Kyiv with 1,000 troops left after 99,000 get taken out by drones.
The rest of the 1,000 will face a VERY angry mob of Ukrainians who will rip them limb by limb.
