Many people dismiss ancient texts as pure mythology or folklore. But look past dogma at the very premise:
"In the beginning was the Word..."
What is a word? In the original Greek, it is Logos. And what is a word or logos at its core? It is information.
Translated into modern concepts: "In the beginning was Information."
Not inert physical matter, but structuring code. Matter came later. Modern physics is arriving at the exact same conclusion: reality is fundamentally informational ("It from bit"), and consciousness is what processes and experiences this information.
Could it be that these ancient intuitions weren't myths, but early attempts to describe the informational fabric of reality and mind using the language of their time?
What are your thoughts on this?
