ChatGPT Pro now offers Pro 500, a new $500/month plan that includes Astra Ultrafast. Pro 200 is also available for new subscriptions again. New subscriptions that aren’t eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance.
ChatGPT Pro includes Pro models, Codex, deep research, image creation, memory and file uploads.

Sign in to ChatGPT and open the pricing page to select a Pro plan. Use your existing ChatGPT account if you’re changing plans.
Yes. New Pro 200 subscriptions are available from the pricing page. New subscriptions that aren’t eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance than previously offered with Pro 200 to reflect our increasingly efficient models. The monthly price remains $200.
If your Pro 200 subscription was active at the eligibility cutoff or during the seven days before it, you’re eligible to keep your previous included usage allowance through Oct 29, 2026 while you have an active Pro 200 subscription.
After that date, your subscription will move to the lower included usage allowance. Your subscription price stays at $200/month. Only users affected by this change will receive an email with additional details.
No. Your subscription remains Pro 200. Keeping your current allowance does not upgrade your plan or add Ultrafast.
If your Pro 200 subscription lapsed during the seven days before the eligibility cutoff, you can still receive your previous included usage allowance through Oct 29, 2026 if you subscribe again. Subscribers who aren’t eligible for grandfathering receive the updated allowance.
Scheduling a cancellation does not end your subscription immediately. You keep access until the end of the current billing period and can undo the cancellation before that period ends.
If you believe your subscription ended because of an error, contact Support so we can review it.
Among Pro plans, Ultrafast is available only on Pro 500. You can select it in the model picker. It uses your plan’s included usage first, then draws from your credit balance after that allowance is used.
At launch, buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock Ultrafast.
Model allowances vary by tier. At a model’s limit, it may be unavailable until its allowance resets. ChatGPT displays the reset time when available.
A usage limit does not end your subscription or mean your account is restricted. Use another available model or wait for the reset. You cannot bypass a limit or increase it through a setting.
Contact Support if the model remains unavailable after its allowance resets.
For eligible features, you can purchase credits to continue after using your plan’s included allowance. Included usage is used first, followed by your credit balance.
Credits support eligible usage in Codex, ChatGPT Work, ChatGPT for Word, ChatGPT for Excel and ChatGPT for PowerPoint. Availability depends on your plan and account. Credits do not provide additional usage for every ChatGPT model or feature.
If credit purchases are available for your account, you can view your balance and purchase credits in Settings → Usage in ChatGPT, or Usage & Billing in Codex. See Using Credits for Flexible Usage in ChatGPT (Personal plans) for supported features, rates and purchase details.
Support cannot reset ChatGPT or Codex limits. We can investigate if usage was counted incorrectly or access failed to return after a reset.
Pro use is subject to our Terms of Use. Sharing account credentials, reselling access and automatically extracting data are prohibited. We may restrict access for misuse. If you believe your account was restricted in error, contact Support to request a review.
Open Settings → My Plan to view your subscription and available plan changes.
Cancel through the platform where you purchased your subscription: ChatGPT, Apple or Google Play. Canceling stops future renewals. You can normally keep using your plan until the end of the current billing period.
Uninstalling the ChatGPT app does not cancel your subscription. See Canceling your ChatGPT subscription for the steps for each platform.
A failed renewal payment does not by itself mean your subscription has ended. For web subscriptions, follow your billing email’s payment recovery instructions. For Apple or Google Play, check the store’s payment settings.
Refund eligibility depends on your purchase and applicable rights. Canceling your subscription does not automatically refund earlier charges. If a refund is approved, access covered by the refunded charge normally ends, subject to applicable law.
For purchases on chatgpt.com or through Google Play, contact OpenAI Support while signed in to the account associated with the charge. For Apple App Store purchases, request a refund directly from Apple. See How do I request a refund for my ChatGPT subscription? for eligibility and instructions.
Yes, if you keep your personal workspace separate. Your Pro subscription continues until you cancel it. Merging your personal workspace into Business changes how your subscription is handled; see Migrating your personal workspace to ChatGPT Business or Enterprise before merging.
Pro is billed monthly. Annual billing and payment for multiple months in advance are not available.
