I'm the type of person that reads signs. When I'm bored. When I'm stressed. It's hard not to pay attention.
Sometimes I read a sign and visualize it as something else. These signs are my attempts to share that internal
view with the rest of the world.

NO POOPING
A social experiment? A cry for help? This short-lived piece never
got to answer a question: Of all of the poop on San Francisco's
sidewalks, how much is there out of spite? I had hoped to receive an
answer in the form of a pile of feces under this sign. Alas, a fan
seems to have stolen the sign and left the brackets behind.

RED TURNS ME ON
One day while biking I misread a “NO TURN ON RED” sign and decided
to give the rest of the city the same double-take I had, but in
reverse. This sign became notorious within the ZOOX driving team,
which lead to its speedy removal.

NEW NEW MONTGOMERY FINAL
I had walked by the New Montgomery street signs a hundred times,
saying to myself “New New Montgomery Final” each time. This street
is a direct continuation of Montgomery. Why is it named like a
poorly managed powerpoint project?
